Piotr Mleczko

The company’s founder, Piotr is a sworn (certified) translator of the English language. A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and of the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies in Translation and Interpreting at the Faculty of Applied Linguistics of the same university, he has also graduated from the Center for American Law Studies and, most recently, the British Law Centre held by the Institute of Continuing Education, University of Cambridge (with honours).

Piotr has worked as a legal assistant, language teacher and freelance translator. In 2005, he set up on his own, starting a translation company. In 2007, he passed Poland’s rigorous exam for sworn (certified) translators and was subsequently entered into the register of sworn translators. He is the author of the Polish translation of Professor Wojciech Sadurski’s book entitled Rights Before Courts. In 2008-2010 he taught legal translation at postgraduate courses, including those offered by Warsaw's Collegium Civitas. From 2004 to 2010 he provided translation services for the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He holds a security clearance, is an extraordinary member of TEPIS (the Polish Society of Sworn and Specialised Translators) and a certified member of the ProZ translator’s community.

Iga Mleczko

An English and German translator and graduate of the Faculty of Applied Linguistics at the University of Warsaw, Iga is currently studying at the British Law Centre. She also completed the Postgraduate Course in Insurance Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw. Specialising in insurance translation, she is currently the author of Let’s talk insurance, an insurance English course published in the e-magazine Dziennik Ubezpieczeniowy. She also works as an English teacher and freelance translator.

For projects requiring specialist knowledge outside our own fields of expertise, we work in conjunction with our tried and tested, external cooperation partners; translators, interpreters, some of whom also specialise in conference interpreting, language teachers and proofreaders, including native speakers, all of whom are highly competent in their own fields.
